What’s nEXt?: Fixing Work for Working Moms

  • Catherine Flavin, Founder and CEO of Whole Leader/LeaderMom
  • Jason Lauritsen, Chief Content Officer, achieve Engagement

The pandemic amplified several existing issues for employers. One of the most critical is how our policies and processes not only do a poor job supporting working mothers, they are often stacked against them. The impact has been severe. Some estimates suggest that well over 1 million mothers have left the workforce since the pandemic began with black, hispanic, and single mothers being most impacted.

This is a crisis and it’s not getting better. But we can do something about it. And must act now.

Our guest this month is Catherine Flavin, the founder of LeaderMom. She’ll help us understand the biggest challenges and missteps organizations are making. Then, we’ll dig into what should be done to address these issues today and in the future. If you are one, know one, or care about a working mom, please join us for this important conversation and call to action.
