FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything senior People leaders ask before joining the room.

Is this a fit for me?

Who is actually in the room?

Senior People leaders running real functions. CHROs, CPOs, VPs of People, Heads of People, and Directors on the rise. Some are leading global enterprises. Some are the entire People function at a fast-growing company. Some are independent advisors and consultants building their own practices. The common thread isn't title or company size — it's altitude. Everyone in the room is operating at a level where the decisions are heavy, the playbook isn't written, and the peer group inside their own company doesn't exist.

I'm not a CHRO yet. Am I too early for this?

If you're a VP, Head of People, or a Director on the rise, and you're already carrying weight beyond your title, you're exactly who this room is built for. The leaders who get the most out of the Leadership Network aren't the ones who already have it figured out — they're the ones leaning forward into what's next, and using the room to compress years of learning into months.

I'm a CHRO with 20 years of experience. Will I get value?

Yes — and so will the room. The most seasoned CHROs in the network tell us the same thing: this is the first peer group they've had in years where the conversation is at their level, where they can actually be the one asking questions instead of always being the one with the answers. You also become part of why other leaders join. The reciprocity goes both ways.

I'm a consultant or independent advisor. Does this work for me?

Yes — if you're operating as an advisor or practitioner, not as a vendor selling into HR. A meaningful slice of the network is independent. The room sharpens your thinking, expands your reach, and gives you the peer group most consultants quietly miss after leaving in-house roles. You're here as a peer

I work in HR tech sales or marketing. Can I join?

No. The Leadership Network is for People leaders, not for the companies trying to sell to them. We screen for this at sign-up, and if a membership is purchased by someone in an active vendor, sales, or marketing role to HR, we revoke access and refund the membership. This isn't personal — it's the only way the room stays what it is. If you're a partner organization looking to engage with the community, that's a separate conversation we're happy to have.

My company is small. Will I be out of place?

No. The work is the same whether you're 200 employees or 20,000. Smaller-company People leaders often carry more scope per person, not less, and the room reflects that. What matters is that you're operating at a senior level and you take the function seriously. Headcount doesn't decide that.

How does it actually work?

When can I join?

Anytime. The Leadership Network runs continuously across the year, so the moment you're in, you're plugged into the next mastermind, EXchange, and webcast. There's no cohort to wait for and no enrollment window to miss.

What's the time commitment?

Designed to fit a senior leader's calendar, not compete with it. Most members spend two to four hours a month in core programming (masterminds, masterclasses, advisory sessions), plus one or two Leadership EXchange dinners a year if you choose to attend. Webcasts and content are on demand. The peer connections happen at your pace.

How is this different from the dozens of HR communities and Slack groups out there?

Most 'HR communities' are open networks where the signal-to-noise ratio collapses fast. The Leadership Network is curated, senior-only, and built around real work. The difference shows up in the room — peers who've actually sat in your seat, operators who'll tell you the truth, programming built around the priorities on your desk, not generic best practices recycled from 2018.

How is this different from a conference or a SHRM membership?

Conferences are one-shot. Generic memberships are passive. The Leadership Network is a sustained, year-round room with the same peer group showing up alongside you, programming sequenced across the year, and direct access to advisors and operators between sessions. You don't go home and forget what you learned. The community is the product.

Will I get pitched by vendors?

No. We work closely with category-defining HR tech partners (Achievers, HiBob, Mitratech, Fuel50, Torch, Vantage Circle and others), and you'll get early access to their thinking and direct lines to their teams. But the rooms are not sales rooms. Members are here to think, not to be sold to. We hold that line firmly, and our membership-screening policy is part of how we protect it.

How do you keep the room high-quality?

Two ways. First, we screen at sign-up to keep vendors, sales, and marketing roles out of the room. If we miss one and they slip through, we revoke access and refund the membership. Second, the programming itself self-selects — the leaders who show up consistently are the ones doing the real work, and that sets the tone for everyone else.

What do I actually get?

Walk me through the programming.

Across the year, you get monthly masterminds (including the First Tuesdays Mastermind, the EX/HR Playbook Masterclass Series, the 'Be the People Leader 2026 Needs' Series, and the AI Innovation for HR Mastermind Series), invitations to Leadership EXchange dinners in cities across the US, Transform Spotlight webcasts and operator-led research, and curated peer connections matched to what's actually on your desk. The thread running through all of it: real work, real peers, real plays.

What are Leadership EXchange dinners?

Senior-only dinners hosted in cities across the US, designed for the conversations that don't happen at conferences. Typically 12 to 20 People leaders in a room, a focused topic, an operator partner co-hosting, and a few hours where the work actually gets discussed at depth. Most members tell us the relationships they build at these dinners outlast and outperform anything else in their professional network.

Will I get one-on-one support?

The network is peer-led by design, not a one-on-one coaching program. That said, members regularly get matched with peers operating in adjacent contexts, and our advisory services are available for senior leaders who want deeper, dedicated support on a specific initiative. If you need that level of help, we'll find the right shape for it.

What about AI for HR?

It's a core thread running through everything we do, including a dedicated AI Innovation for HR Mastermind Series. You'll see how leading People functions are actually using AI inside their workforce — what's working, what's not, and how to build a People-led AI strategy your CEO and CFO can both get behind. No hype, no theatrics, just the real plays.

Investment and logistics

What does it cost?

Membership is priced for the senior People leader market and reflects the depth of the programming, the seniority of the room, and the ROI we expect members to see across the year. Specifics are on the membership page, and we're happy to walk through it on a quick call if you want to talk through fit first.

Will my company pay for it?

In most cases, yes. The Leadership Network counts as professional development for senior leaders and most members get it covered through their L&D, executive development, or CHRO-level discretionary budgets. We can provide a justification doc for your CFO or CEO if it's helpful. The ROI conversation is one we have all the time.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Membership is annual, and we'll talk you through the specifics if you want to discuss it before joining. We'd rather have a conversation about fit on the front end than have you leave six months in.

Still on the fence?

I'm not sure I have the time right now.

That's almost always the signal you need this most. Senior People leaders who feel underwater are exactly the ones the Leadership Network was built for. The room gives you back time by sharpening your decisions and shortening the distance between problem and play. Most members tell us the same thing six months in: they wish they'd joined sooner.

I want to talk to a current member before I decide.

We can arrange that. Reach out and we'll connect you with a member operating in a similar context. Hear it from them.

I'm in.

Good. Join the Leadership Network and we'll get you plugged into the next mastermind, EXchange, and peer connections right away.

Still have questions?

We're happy to walk through fit on a quick call — or connect you with a current member operating in a similar context.
