Alexandra Colina is a dynamic and purpose-driven Learning & Development leader with over a decade of experience designing and delivering high-impact leadership development, instructional design, and employee learning experiences on a global scale. As Global Manager of Learning & Development at Heidrick & Struggles, Alexandra partners with executive stakeholders across the business to drive performance, enhance employee engagement, and build future-ready leaders in more than 20 countries.

A natural connector and strategic learning partner, Alexandra leads the design, facilitation, and evaluation of 18+ development programs—including the firm's award-winning Business Academy, which earned two Brandon Hall Gold Awards in 2024. Her work blends proven L&D theories with innovative approaches in AI, social learning, assessment & evaluation, and DEI, helping elevate both individual potential and organizational capability.

In addition to managing the global learning strategy and budget alignment for Heidrick Consulting, Alexandra also plays a pivotal role in driving culture transformation. She serves as Co-Chair of Chicago Cares, increasing volunteer engagement by 45%, and is a founding member of the firm’s Interfaith Employee Resource Group—demonstrating her commitment to inclusive culture, employee experience, and cross-cultural understanding.

Alexandra holds a Master's in Counseling and is the Co-founder of Next Move Consulting, LLC, where she helps professionals navigate career transitions with clarity and confidence. Her coaching and facilitation are grounded in empathy, strategy, and communication—reflected in her Gallup Strengths: Empathy, Arranger, Strategic, Communication, and Learner.
