With nearly 33 years of experience at Target Corporation, a Fortune 50 powerhouse, Laysha has demonstrated exceptional skill in navigating rapid change, building impactful community programs, and aligning business strategy with social responsibility.

Laysha’s influential career at Target included roles such as Executive Vice President, Chief External Engagement Officer, where she led enterprise-wide initiatives to deepen cross-sector partnerships that drive business and community impact. Beginning her journey in store management, she progressed to Vice President of Community Relations and later Chief Corporate Social Responsibility Officer, shaping Target’s approach to DEI, community investment, and corporate citizenship.
Beyond the corporate world, Laysha has served in prominent national roles, including appointment by President Bush and confirmation by the U.S. Senate to the Corporation for National and Community Service board, later chairing under the Obama Administration.
