
Porter Braswell
Porter Braswell is an acclaimed entrepreneur, DEI advocate, and workforce development leader, best known for his pioneering work in creating inclusive career pathways for underrepresented professionals. He is the Founder and CEO of 2045 Studio, a workforce development platform that equips organizations to build inclusive leaders for the future of work. In 2024, Studio 2045 was recognized on Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas list and named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum.
Previously, Porter co-founded and served as CEO of Jopwell, the largest diversity recruitment platform in the U.S., where he helped thousands of diverse professionals advance their careers while enabling companies to diversify their talent pipelines. Under his leadership, Jopwell earned numerous accolades, including Entrepreneur Magazine’s 100 Most Brilliant Ideas, Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies, and Business Insider’s Hottest NYC Companies to Watch. In 2021, Jopwell was also named a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer before being acquired by True Search in 2023, where Porter continues to serve as a Managing Director.

He is the host of the Harvard Business Review podcast “Race at Work”, where he leads candid discussions with executives, academics, and cultural influencers. He is also the author of Let Them See You (Penguin Random House, 2019), a career guide for underrepresented professionals navigating corporate America.
Porter serves on the boards of The Lawrenceville School and DREAM Charter School, and in 2024 he joined the advisory board for the 2025 Ryder Cup. A graduate of Yale University, where he played Division I basketball, he began his career at Goldman Sachs before embarking on his mission to transform the future of inclusive work.
