Heather Niebel is a seasoned HR leader and the Global Talent Strategy & Employee Listening Lead at Accenture, where she drives one of the world’s largest employee experience and organizational culture listening programs. With more than 15 years of expertise, Heather has been instrumental in shaping Accenture’s global talent strategy, enabling the company’s 799,000+ people to feel heard, valued, and empowered to thrive.
As part of Accenture’s Integrated Talent Strategy team, Heather leads the design and execution of the company’s culture listening strategy, using a data-driven approach to inform leadership decisions, strengthen organizational culture, and accelerate culture transformation in alignment with business objectives. Her insights help leaders identify actionable steps to foster trust, belonging, and resilience in an ever-evolving work environment.
Heather also partners closely with Accenture’s Inclusion & Diversity team to co-create the company’s belonging index, and with the Learning & Leadership Development team to integrate employee insights into leadership programs—driving more inclusive, adaptive, and human-centered leaders.
She began her career at Accenture in 2006 through an acquisition, where she helped clients measure cultural similarities and differences during mergers and acquisitions, identifying roadblocks and opportunities for successful integration. This early work cemented her expertise in organizational development, people strategy, and culture change at scale.
Heather holds a bachelor’s degree from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California. Today, she is a trusted advisor to executives navigating the future of work—helping them build data-informed strategies that enhance employee engagement, talent development, and long-term business success.
